A final exam will probably not be given for this course. Final decision depends upon your effort, conduct, etc during the final project phase. A final Review Exercise will be given
n A final lab project is required for this course. It can be selected by the student with approval by me.
n The project will be a major component of your grade for the marking period.
n A demonstration of the completed project will be required along with a PowerPoint presentation.
n Requirements of the PowerPoint presentation - a copy must be submitted electronically no later than the date listed below
Ø Cover page with author(s), date, and title of the project
Ø Table of contents
Ø Body of the presentation that includes
ð what you said you were going to do and how it was accomplished
ð pictures, tables, and graphs as appropriate.
ð schematic developed using TinyCad
n You can work individually or as a team of not more than 2 students

n May 3: Teaming arrangements must be submitted not later than
n May 4: Proposed projects must be submitted no later than
The proposal must include a schematic using TinyCad along with sufficient description to enable approval or disapproval.
A grade for the quality of this submission will be included in your total grade for the project.
n May 14: Projects, to include the PowerPoint presentation must be completed not later than
n May 17: Presentations begin

Components of your Grade for the Project
n Meeting deadlines.
For example, your proposal will be dated and deductions will be made each time it has to be returned for not following instructions, not submitting enough detail to permit a
decision on appropriateness, etc.
n Quality of the proposal
Ø If you are unable to select an appropriate topic from the many topics we have discussed this semester, then I will select a topic for you. Your grade will reflect this inability
Ø Number of times the proposal had to be resubmitted
n Quality of the project
Ø Concepts covered during the course that are successfully incorporated
Ø Difficulty
n Quality of the PowerPoint portion
Ø Presentation
Ø The PowerPoint submission
n Quality of the demonstration
n Ready to present in accordance with the schedule that will be published below. Days and times will be selected with a random number generator
